Meyer Davis Studio's Le Méridien New Orleans Digital Installationby  TRI-KES

December 1, 2015 |

Interior Design Magazine recently wrote a very interesting article on the remodel of the former W New Orleans hotel into the hip and chic Le Méridien New Orleans hotel by New York's Meyer Davis Studio. This updated space showcases a variety of unique and interesting decor, including several TRI-KES digital wallcoverings.

Shown both in the above feature photo as well as below is a digitally printed TRI-KES vinyl wallcovering that spans two stories in the lounge area of the Le Méridien hotel. The artwork is derived from a vintage geological map of the Mississippi River.

The reception area of the hotel (shown below) also features a TRI-KES digital wallcovering, which was inspired by an abstract and deconstructed image of the Mississippi Delta.

Below, a Louis Armstrong lyric is printed on a guest corridor’s custom vinyl wallcovering.

The foyer’s custom digital wallcovering abstracts a Mardi Gras parade route map, complete with clustered dots to represent the places where people congregate to watch and catch the colorful beads.

A contemporary custom digital wallcovering even adorns the elevator doors of the hotel.
