On my journey to New York City, there were a lot of sights to see, but my favorite stop along the way was definitely our nation's capital, Washington, D.C. See below for some photo highlights of my visit.

Constructed in 1932, the Arlington Memorial Bridge is a Neoclassical masonry, steel, and stone arch bridge with a central bascule (or drawbridge) that crosses the Potomac River. Designed by the architectural firm McKim, Mead, and White, the Arlington Memorial Bridge defines the western end of the National Mall and is decorated with monumental statues depicting valor and sacrifice by sculptor...

My journey across America recently led me to one of the greatest cities in the world - New York City! Now I've been around the block a time or two, but I've never experienced ANYTHING like the sights and sounds of the city that never sleeps. To begin with, I don't think I've ever had so much trouble maneuvering myself on the street. There were just so many people and vehicles to watch out for and I'm not exactly built to weave in and out of traffic. Trust me, if I was small enough to fit, I would have just taken the subway!

Once I got the hang of getting around the city, I was excited to do a...

After the San Francisco Interior Design One Night Only event, I was exhausted and in need of a bath, so I stopped in Fairfield, California to visit some of my younger relatives (those fancy newer models) at the Bay Area Airstream Adventures Airstream dealership.

You may not have heard, but Bay Area Airstream Adventures is a must see if you're taking a journey across America like me (that's coming from an Airstream though). I haven't read other reviews, but I felt like it was the equivalent of a 5-star hotel, with stellar concierge service and amenities galore! I was well pampered with a nice...

After leaving Interior Design’s One Night Only event in Seattle, Washington, I was off again to yet another One Night Only event, but this time it was in San Francisco, California. These designers sure do like to throw parties, which is fine with me because I'm usually the life of any party! I always do like to make a statement and the San Francisco Interior Design One Night Only event was no exception. The event was held at the Penthouse Suite at The Fairmont San Francisco and they parked me right in front of the building so everyone could see me. I had a blast meeting all of the designers as...

After leaving Lemhi Valley, we traveled along a historic trail with very narrow and winding roads, making me dizzy. By the time we came across a sign that said “Hells Canyon”, I thought I was seeing things. Surely my driver, Matt, would not take me or his dog, Misty, in there, but boy was I wrong! Just when I thought it could not get any scarier, the roads had switchbacks. I had to close my blinkers just to get through. Here's what I later learned about this place. Hells Canyon is a 10-mile wide canyon located on the eastern border of Oregon. It is claimed to be North America’s deepest river...
